Gain the expertise to install and maintain ATEX equipment safely and independently. This 3-day Level 2 training course in Brussels is certified by INERIS under the ISM-ATEX system. It is designed for professionals who need to work autonomously in ATEX zones, and who are responsible for selecting, installing, or inspecting explosion-proof electrical equipment.
Who is this training for?
This course is intended for:
- Electricians and technicians working in ATEX environments
- Maintenance staff responsible for explosion-proof installations
- Engineers or technical managers selecting and installing ATEX equipment
Participants should already have basic knowledge of ATEX principles (Level 1 or equivalent experience).
What will you learn during this training?
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the causes and effects of gas and dust explosions
- Recognize ignition sources and apply prevention strategies
- Interpret ATEX markings and select appropriate equipment

Certification
Participants who pass the final assessment receive the ISM-ATEX Level 2 certificate, issued by INERIS, a notified body for ATEX certification.
